Housekeeping

10:00 am – 3:00 pm = 5 hrs with a 15 min break.

  • Change the Residents Bedding
  • Launder the resident’s bedding
  • Washrooms – (Ceiling to Floor)
      • Windex mirror
      • Clean sink & polish taps
      • Spot wash walls, light switches
      • Wash floor including baseboards, & heater
      • Clean toilet including raised seats

  • Resident Bedroom
      • Dust furniture
      • Wipe window sills
      • Windex inside of windows
      • Spot wash walls, baseboards
      • Disinfect light switches, TV remote

      • Vacuum carpets(report to GM if carpet cleaning needed)
      • Empty garbage cans
      • ***Disinfect handrails, doorknobs, light switches,

Do you enjoy cooking meals for your family? If so we at Arbor Lodge have a wonderful P/T Cooking position available for you.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]2 shifts Available: 6:30 am – 1:00 pm or 10:00 am – 6:30 pm

DUTIES:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]You will be responsible for the following:

  • Share report of the day with BC and Read Communication book including memos and initial.
  • prepare lunch as per menu – dessert
  • pour waters, juice, milk and put out for residents

Serve lunch 12:00 main floor, 12:15 pm upper floor

  • clean stovetop and elements, microwave, dishwasher, counters, cupboards, ensure spills are wiped up and scrubbed clean.
  • load dishwasher, turn it on, do all dishes, clean and disinfect sinks, utensil bucket, and dirty dish bins.
  • 2:30 pm put out snack/coffee counter – make fresh coffee, fill water urn and jug, change ice tray with frozen ice pack and refill condiments as needed.
  • Prepare Dinner as per menu (dessert)
  • pour water, milk, and juice and put out for residents.

  • clean stovetop and elements, microwave, dishwasher, counters, cupboards, ensure spills are wiped up and scrubbed clean.
  • load dishwasher, turn it on, do all dishes, clean and disinfect sinks, utensil bucket, and dirty dish bins. Main floor dishwasher clean and turn off.
  • add items needed to the grocery list. Pull all necessary items from the freezer for the next day.
  • Take out garbage – every second Thursday, take out the recycling
  • Check and record fridge and freezer temps and record
